Steve is an incredible musician, I have been listening to him for years. He only gets better as time goes on. I have seen him 6 times in concert and I would see him again in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work Steve!!!
This too put a smile on my face. I am 60 years old and I can say that I have enjoyed Steve Windwood all my life. He is an incredible artist and wonderful person. We are traveling over from the US to see the concert in Royal Albert Hall on June 1. The only thing better would be to have a chance to meet him and get one simple autograph!!! Wish there were some way.........

What a wonderful perspective interview. Highlights both why Steve iendures with such richness in his music as well as why he endures at all - a combination of love and talent in his craft as well as moderation and balance in life . A much needed example apart from those who give artists a bad reputation (though our hearts go out to those who have fallen).
I don't know a better musician, such a high level of quality and creativity for 45 years is only possible when music is running through somebody's blood. Steves Music is timeless and we can feel his joy when he is playing.
This put a smile on my face and over 45 years of wonderful music memories spun through my head. Yes Inge, one of the best musicians ever. So glad he still has the fire in him and continues to have "music in his blood" as well in his heart and soul. Looking forward to where his muse takes him next.
