Had to cry (not today) but yesterday, because I couldn't see it. But found it today on You Toube...

I too was really frustrated that I couldn't get to watch live from the UK, but have now caught the performance on another well known website. Steve was on fine form and the band really tight, they all looked like they were having a blast. Can't wait to see Steve and Eric in May.
Steve never disappoints or amybe I'm just biased.

After watching yesterday's Super Bowl performance, it is clear to me that this is one of the tightest bands Steve has ever played with. True pros.

Richard Bailey is a master of polyrhythm; confident, powerful, and a pleasure to watch. Joyful latin flavor everywhere.

Jose Neto- fluid playing, funky, tasteful licks abounding; his unique chord voicings add new dimensions to every arrangement. (witness the 'Rainmaker' video from the media section).

    Karl- evolution of Rebop

Paul Booth- multi-instrumentalist and brilliant accompanist: precision paired with a light touch.

Note: Interestingly, the band did not perform the second half of the bridge to the song 'Higher Love' on the Super Bowl broadcast, which I think modulates to a C from the Bb. (My all-time favorite SW bridge):

'I could light the night up with my soul on fire / I could make the sunshine from pure desire / Let me feel that love come over me / Let me feel how strong it can be"

    Hmmmm....your thoughts?

Really frustrated that I didn't catch the performance on UK TV (couldn't stay up that late to watch the coverage) but I have just found a clip of him on another website. Steve looked like he was having a blast, he is soooooo cool.

Wish Steve was performing in the halftime show....perhaps next year!
But The Who will absolutely rock.

What time is the half-time show in case Steve gets called in to play with the Who?

José Neto was playing his signature Paradis guitar.
    Built By: Rolf Spuler

"....the ultimately perfectioned Paradis guitar – a beautifully designed crossover instrument with excellent acoustic sound, for both nylon and steel strings. Its true originality is the fusion of unrivalled design, master class lutherie and state-of-the-art technics. The new model presents a headstock with hidden tuning machines, volume controls subtly embedded into the design and studio-type on-board electronics. Its integrated polybass adds a synchronized delay-free suboctave to the original string sound for full-bodied bass accompaniment."
