  1. "The Last Great Traffic Jam" DVD Press Release

    New York, N.Y. - When sixties rock heroes Steve Winwood and Jim Capaldi re-formed Traffic in 1994 for more than 75 unforgettable performances, a camera crew was right by their side, shadowing the group on its historic tour of the U.S. Eleven years later, that footage-shot on the tour bus, in the dressing room, and on the stage-has been combined to form the band's first ever live DVD: The Last Great Traffic Jam.

    To be released on September 20th on Epic Records, The Last Great Traffic Jam follows band founders Winwood, Capaldi, and their four-piece backing band on Traffic's first tour of the U.S. in two decades.

    On what inspires the eternally youthful rocker to continue to record and tour, Mr. Winwood offers: "I'm inspired by playing live and playing with great musicians. I'm (also) inspired by what goes on in the world and I feel that I have a roll to play to bring music to people and perhaps, albeit briefly, to transport them from more mundane issues of the times that we live in."

  3. Winwood Plays on New Ashley Cleveland Album

    Steve Winwood appears on the new album 'Men and Angels Say' from two-time Grammy winner Ashley Cleveland. The track "I Need Thee Every Hour" features a duet vocal and organ performance from Winwood. A fellow lover of hymns, Winwood accepted Ashley's invitation to appear on the album after the two led worship together at their Nashville church.
