Due to popular demand, Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood have added an additional show at London's Royal Albert Hall on June 1st, 2011. This is in addition to the four May dates they will be performing together on the 26th, 27th, 29th and 30th of May 2011.
Meeting in the Sixties, their musical paths first connected with their formation of Blind Faith with Ginger Baker and Rick Grech. Although the band was short-lived, the men remained friends. After reuniting on stage in 2007, Clapton and Winwood performed three now-historic concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden in February 2008, which were captured on DVD. The duo followed it up with two critically acclaimed tours of the US in 2009 and the UK / Europe earlier this year. These just announced intimate concerts at the Royal Albert Hall promise more of the same: Blind Faith classics, solo hits from each, and songs they just love to play live.
Stay tuned for more information and breaking news.
