  1. Steve Winwood Adds Vocals in Aid of Tsunami Disaster Appeal

    Steve Winwood has added his vocals to two forthcoming releases in aid of the recent tragic events in Asia.

    The first track was written by Bluey of Incognito and Graham Harvey with the current title of 'Hope Collective.' Other artists that feature on this track are Chaka Khan, Jocelyn Brown, Maysa Leak, Carleen Anderson, Taka Boom, Omar, Amp Fiddler, Maxi Jazz, Jamie Cullum, Lemar, Raghav, and Shazney Lewis.

    Seasons Greetings From Steve

    I thought it was time to post a word to give all a quick update.

    The holiday season is in full swing and we are enjoying a busy and happy time with many Christmas festivities arranged. Our youngest daughter Lilly, aged 9, recently sang ‘Silent Night’ in Cold Aston church and tonight our family will sing ‘In The Bleak Midwinter’.

    Steve Winwood has just been informed that he will receive an honorary doctorate degree from Aston University. Steve is from Birmingham, England, and the local University is honouring him with this degree in recognition of his career achievements. Steve is thrilled by the gesture, especially since it comes from a University in his hometown.

    A message from Steve Winwood in response to a letter posted by Dave Mason on his Website:

    I had thought after our brief but amicable chat at the R&R HOF, and our "smiley hug," as captured immortally on camera, that Dave and I had finally put our differences behind us. Imagine my dismay when I read the message that was posted on his website. At least I suppose we are at last letting our feelings be known, which must be better than holding them in, mustn't it?
